Confirmation at Peace is an opportunity for middle school and early high school-age students to build relationships with peers, parents, pastors, and other caring adults. In these trusted relationships, explore and strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in God’s promises, and begin to recognize their calling and how to live out this faith in the world.

Peace’s Confirmation program goes from September 10, 2023 to May 19, 2024. We believe youth grow more in faith when they see their parent/guardian learning, singing, and praying with them - get involved by signing up to volunteer!

6TH GRADE OPTIONS

Traditional | Wednesdays at 6:15pm

Come to approximately once a month Journey Together meeting as an adult & youth pair one Wednesday per month from 6:15–7:00pm. We’ll spend time learning, connecting, and seeing the outcome of a unit of study.

Attend confirmation with same-grade peers the other three Wednesdays of the month from 6:15–7:00pm – with learning activities, service opportunities, and opportunities for connecting fun.

DIY Confirmation | One Sunday a month at 11:15am

Come to an in-person monthly meeting as an adult & youth pair one Sunday per month from 11:15am–12:00pm

THEN, we’ll provide you two to three take-home projects for engaging discussions and family activities to help you all dig into scripture and the Biblical story, take part in service opportunities, assist with and attend worship, and connect with others.

7th GRADE OPTIONS

4. Use your email or phone number for an access code. If you use the phone number or email that we have on file, it will recognize you right away.

5. Explore everything you can do through the app including signing up for Confirmation!

We often say that “faith is transmitted through relationships,” and that is the heart of our confirmation program. Small-group leaders aren’t experts. They don’t need to have answers for every question of faith or memorized thousands of bible passages. They simply need to listen, care, and let the Holy Spirit do the rest. Volunteers can be anyone in 11th grade and above.
